Merry Christmas 2007

Dearest Friends and Family!

We are so excited to be in the middle of this Christmas season! We hope that you are enjoying it as well. Amidst the hustle and bustle of the holiday season, we are trying to slow down and enjoy the new memories that we make and the older (ok, not so old yet) traditions that we enjoy. From the scent of the Christmas tree and cookies to the driving around to look at Christmas lights, we hope that you are enjoying your time this December. Most importantly, we hope that you can join us in remembering what this season is truly all about, the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We really can’t believe 2007 is almost over. This has been a full year for us, as we’re sure it has been for you all as well. Probably our biggest highlight was that Todd graduated! He finished his Masters in Counseling and is now studying for his licensing exams and looking for a job! When he isn’t busy with the above, he is substitute teaching for several area schools and keeping Megan sane! I have been busy with my pediatric practice and have really enjoyed my patients and my families.

We have both had fun reconnecting with some old friends and making new ones this year. We’ve become involved with a small group Bible study at our church and are enjoying the fellowship and learning about God’s word. We’ve continued to cultivate our love of cooking as well, and have enjoyed a monthly supper club with a group of friends from Todd’s class. We love using our free time to explore small towns around Kansas and Missouri and just spend time together….and with the dogs, of course!

Our families are doing well, and we are blessed that our parents are active and healthy. We have two new nieces this year: Mackenzie was born December 2006 and Alexis was born February 2007. We are so thankful that we have such a large local family, and really enjoy the relationships that we have. In 2006, my dad married Ada, and we are so thankful for her…she has really added a lot to our lives! My mom and Ned continue to enjoy their lovely home in the country, and we can’t wait for our next fishing and s’mores expedition soon! We got to see Todd’s parents throughout the summer and attend some Cardinals baseball games too!

We figured an internet letter would be on par for us…and we hope that all of you are doing well. Below are some pictures from throughout the year. Please let us know how you are doing, and know that we think of you and pray for you often. Merry Christmas!!!

Love-
